Benefits of membership
Members of CPTRH have access to a regional network with a named CPTRH regional officer who facilitates networking and study in the region. There are monthly bulletins and a newsletter with research reports and items of interest. There is also a members handbook and a members only Facebook group.
CPTRH also run a Hippotherapy course annually which is in two parts: Equine module and Hippotherapy module. CPTRH also runs a biannual conference and AGM and a national study day is held in the year between conferences. Additional study days and practical workshops are organised.
Categories of membership
Full membership - open to all Chartered Physiotherapists.
Associate membership - open to occupational therapists, retired therapists and members of other professional bodies involved with therapeutic riding.
Student membership - which offers reduced rates to current students.
Membership fees
Full membership - £35
Associate membership - £25
Student membership - £15
Membership is renewable on 1st January annually.
